What is Leptin?
Leptin is a hormone produced in our body which reduces the feeling of hunger and decreases our appetite.
Leptin can be increased by insulin and also good quality sleep! However Leptin can be reduced by short term fasting and also bad quality sleep!
Ghrelin on the other hand is the opposite and increases our bodies appetite and hunger levels.
Ghrelin has an anti-inflammatory effect meaning it can help reduce inflammation.
